OVERVIEW
An exhibition of young creatives

BRAND DEVELOPMENT
Developing patterns for a meeting between the old and the new
One of the key highlights of this year's exhibition was the return of alumni displaying their works alongside graduating students. The branding needed to honor that dialogue — feeling fresh while staying cohesive with the center's existing visual identity. The ripple that forms when a droplet hits water became the central metaphor: a meeting point between what came before and what's arriving.
Working under the design lead, I developed 20+ patterns built on intersecting circle halves as a baseline geometry — applied consistently across the exhibition's branding touchpoints.

IMPACT
Shaping the identity of an exhibition covered by major Viet news outlets
This project was my first foray into branding, and under the mentorship of a lead designer, I was able to create patterns and merchandise for an exhibition with hundreds of attendees and described by several news outlets as "a multidimensional art space where personal stories meet perspectives on contemporary society".

MY TAKEAWAYS
This project taught me how to hit the ground running: learning new tools quickly, figuring out what was needed to realize my vision, and adapting on the fly. I also grew in my ability to pitch ideas during brainstorming sessions, receive constructive feedback, and work within a shared art direction while still bringing my own creativity to the work. It was a challenging but deeply rewarding experience, made all the more meaningful by the guidance of our mentors, design director Minh Thao and publication designer Ha Anh.
